Building AI Systems That Serve People
Lumivox was founded on the belief that artificial intelligence should enhance human capabilities, not replace human judgment. We're a team of engineers and domain specialists committed to thoughtful implementation.
Return to HomepageOur Story
Lumivox emerged in 2021 from a series of conversations among data engineers who had grown concerned about how AI was being marketed and deployed. We saw organizations pressured into adopting complex systems before understanding whether those systems addressed actual business needs. We witnessed vendors promising transformative outcomes while delivering brittle solutions that required constant maintenance.
Our founding team came together in Bangkok with a different vision. We wanted to build an AI consultancy that prioritized clarity over hype, sustainability over speed, and genuine collaboration over sales pressure. The name Lumivox—combining light and voice—reflects our commitment to illuminating possibilities while amplifying what clients already understand about their own operations.
Today, we serve organizations across Thailand and occasionally beyond. Our projects range from straightforward data infrastructure improvements to sophisticated predictive models, but they all share a common characteristic: they're designed around real operational contexts, documented thoroughly, and handed over in ways that enable client teams to maintain and extend the work independently.
We measure our success not by the complexity of the systems we build, but by whether those systems continue delivering value long after our engagement ends. This approach requires patience, careful listening, and sometimes the willingness to recommend simpler solutions than clients initially imagined. It's the only way we know how to work.
Meet Our Team
Our specialists bring deep technical expertise combined with genuine respect for the challenges you face.
Apinya Petcharat
Principal Data Engineer
Apinya leads our data infrastructure practice, designing pipelines that transform messy operational data into reliable analytical foundations. She spent eight years at financial institutions before joining Lumivox.
Somchai Kulthanan
Machine Learning Architect
Somchai develops predictive models that balance statistical rigor with business interpretability. His background in manufacturing operations informs his pragmatic approach to model deployment.
Nattida Siripong
Workflow Intelligence Lead
Nattida specializes in identifying opportunities for intelligent automation within complex business processes. She ensures that automated systems include appropriate human oversight checkpoints.
Quality Standards
We maintain rigorous professional standards across all engagements to ensure consistent quality and ethical AI implementation.
Data Protection Compliance
All projects adhere to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act requirements. We implement encryption, access controls, and audit trails as standard practice, not optional additions.
Version Control Standards
Every line of code we write is tracked through version control systems. This ensures reproducibility, enables rollback when needed, and provides clear documentation of system evolution.
Testing Protocols
We employ unit testing, integration testing, and validation against held-out datasets before any model or pipeline enters production use. No shortcuts on quality assurance.
Documentation Requirements
Each deliverable includes architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, configuration guides, and maintenance procedures. Documentation is written for your team, not for us.
Ethical AI Framework
We assess models for bias, ensure transparent decision-making processes, and build in human oversight where algorithmic decisions could significantly impact individuals.
Knowledge Transfer
Every project concludes with structured training sessions for your technical team. We ensure someone on your side understands how to maintain and troubleshoot the systems we build.
Our Values and Expertise
Technical Depth With Human Context
We possess strong capabilities in statistical modeling, distributed computing, natural language processing, and machine learning engineering. However, technical skill alone never produces useful AI systems. Understanding how organizations actually operate—their constraints, their decision rhythms, their knowledge distribution—matters just as much as understanding algorithms. We invest time learning your operational reality before proposing solutions.
Sustainable Implementation Over Quick Wins
Many AI vendors prioritize impressive demonstrations that showcase technology capabilities. We prioritize boring reliability. Our systems are designed to run consistently with minimal intervention, to fail gracefully when they do fail, and to provide clear signals when human review becomes necessary. This approach requires more upfront design work but produces systems that serve you for years rather than months.
Transparency in Capabilities and Limitations
We maintain honest conversations about what current AI technology can and cannot accomplish. When we believe a simpler non-AI solution would serve you better, we say so directly. When we identify risks or challenges in a proposed implementation, we surface them early rather than discovering them during deployment. This transparency extends to pricing, timelines, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
Local Knowledge With Global Standards
Operating in Thailand gives us intimate familiarity with regional data regulations, business practices, and technical infrastructure realities. We understand Thai corporate decision-making processes, communication norms, and the practical constraints of working within Southeast Asian technical ecosystems. Simultaneously, we adhere to international best practices in software engineering, model development, and security protocols.
